Test method of volatile organic compound test chamber for automobile interior parts
1. Reference standard:
HJ/T 4002007 "Method for sampling and determination of volatile organic compounds and aldehydes and ketones in vehicles"
GB/T 27630 "Guidelines for Air Quality Evaluation in Passenger Cars"
2. Test equipment for testing:
Automobile volatile organic compound test chamber, vehicle VOC emission test chamber, automobile interior parts VOC emission test chamber
3. Test purpose:
Test the total emission of organic volatiles from automotive interior materials
4. Characteristics of Volatile Organic Compounds:
The boiling point of highly volatile organic compounds is less than 50°C, such as formaldehyde (6°C), acetaldehyde (20°C)
50℃<VOC boiling point<260℃, such as: benzene (80℃), toluene (110℃), xylene (140℃)
260℃<Semi-volatile organic compounds boiling point<400℃, such as butyl phthalate (340℃)
5. Test method:
5.1 Ambient temperature: 25℃±1℃;
5.2 Relative humidity: 50%±10%;
5.3 Put the inspected vehicle into a vehicle test environment that meets the requirements;
5.4 The new car should be a qualified off-line for 28d±5d and require no covering on the internal surface;
5.5 When the windows and doors are opened, the static storage time is not less than 6h;
5.6 During the preparation period, the vehicle test conditions should meet the requirements, and the sampling device should be installed;
5.7 Close all doors and windows, keep the vehicle under inspection closed for 16 hours, and start collecting.
