Test details of formaldehyde emission test box for wood-based panels
1. Test sample
The test samples are generally: wood board, particle board, medium density fiberboard, the test specification is: 1000*500mm, under normal circumstances, one sample is tested at a time;
2. Equipment: 1 cubic meter of formaldehyde emission test box, supporting * dense oven, constant temperature water tank, sampler, gas scrubber, etc.;
3. Working principle
Put the test piece with a surface area of 1 square meter into a climate chamber with temperature, humidity, air flow rate and replacement rate controlled at a fixed value. The formaldehyde released from the sample is directly mixed with the gas in the formaldehyde emission test box, and then Regularly use an atmospheric sampler to extract gas. The extracted gas passes through a gas scrubber filled with distilled water to dissolve the formaldehyde in the gas in water, and then calculate the formaldehyde emission (mg/m3).
4. Test conditions of formaldehyde emission test box
Temperature range: 23+-0.5 degrees
Relative humidity: 45+-3 RH
Carrying rate: 1.0+-0.02
Air replacement rate: 1.0+-0.05
Air velocity on the surface of the sample: 0.1~0.3m/s
5. Test process
The four sides of the test piece are sealed with formaldehyde-free aluminum tape, so that formaldehyde is only released from the surface and back of the test piece. Place the test piece vertically in the center of the formaldehyde emission test box, and the surface is parallel to the direction of air flow. Formaldehyde emission test The test duration of the box is at least 10 days, and the measurement starts from the 7th day. The test cycle of the formaldehyde emission in the test piece is 1 day until it reaches a stable state. When the number of tests exceeds 4 times and the difference between the measurement results of the last 2 times is less than 5*/*, the stable state has been reached.
