Temperature test of new energy battery constant temperature and humidity chamber
In order to ensure the safety of air transportation and meet the transportation needs of goods containing lithium batteries, according to the relevant provisions of the IATA "Dangerous Goods Regulations", the operation specification for rechargeable lithium batteries, that is, the test of UN38.3, has been formulated. Next, the editor will show you how to use the constant temperature and humidity chamber to perform temperature tests on new energy batteries.
Temperature test of new energy battery constant temperature and humidity chamber:
1. Test object: new energy battery
2. Test equipment: new energy battery constant temperature and humidity chamber
3. Recommended brand: Ring Instrument
4. Reference standard: UN38.3
5. Equipment requirements: complete temperature conversion within 30 minutes
The test steps of the new energy battery temperature test:
1. The test cells and battery packs are to be stored at a test temperature equal to 75±2°C for at least 6 hours, followed by storage at a test temperature equal to -40±2°C for at least 6 hours. The maximum time interval between two extreme test temperatures is 30 minutes. This procedure must be repeated 10 times.
2. Then store all test cells and battery packs at ambient temperature (20±5°C) for 24 hours. For large cells and packs, exposure to extreme test temperatures shall be at least 12 hours.
3. Requirements: If there is no weight loss, no leakage, no venting, no disassembly, no rupture and no burning, and the open circuit voltage of each test cell or battery after the test is not less than its voltage before this test is carried out 90%. Batteries and battery packs meet this requirement. The voltage requirements do not apply to test cells and batteries in the fully discharged state.
