How Is CADR Calculated? We're gonna use the 28-cubic meter purifier test bay
Renren94 -- When we had Renren94, we'll need to use the ANSI/AHAM AC-1 test. This test is actually simple and won't really consume too much of your precious time.
Another factor that we have to take into consideration is the room size. While it might be true that CADR is usually used for large rooms, it's still paramount that we look into the size of a particular room since this will also dictate the efficiency of air purifiers.
For example, air purifiers with a rating of 300 CFM will be able to usually clean a room that's around 300 square feet and it will be even faster than an air purifier that's running on 200 CFM.
Technical requirements for 28 cubic meter purifier test chamber laboratory
1. Smoke CADR measurement range
Minimum: CADR = 10 cfm
Maximum: CADR = 450 cfm
2. Laboratory temperature and humidity
Suites temperature
Temperature: 21 + 4 ℃
Note:
1. The ambient temperature of the suite is controlled by separate air conditioning, and the temperature is set by their own remote control, without separate temperature display table.
2. The cooling and heating are manually switched.
3. The computer system does not collect the temperature data of the suite.
Laboratory temperature/humidity
Laboratory temperature: 21 ± 3℃ (70 ± 5oF)
Humidity of the laboratory: 40±5%RH
