High and low temperature test requirements for motorcycle brakes
A motorcycle is a vehicle used outdoors, and the brakes of motorcycles need to be subjected to high and low temperature tests to test their performance. How about the high and low temperature tests of motorcycle brakes? what do you need? Let's take a look.
Test equipment: high and low temperature test chamber
1. Durable high temperature action
High temperature action durability should be tested under the following conditions:
a) Test environment temperature requirement: 100℃±3℃;
b) Maximum brake pressure: 3.4 MPa±0.2 MPa;
c) Piston stroke of the brake master cylinder: more than 50% of the maximum stroke of the piston;
d) The action frequency of the piston of the brake master cylinder: 1000 times/h±100 times/h;
e) The number of actions of the piston of the brake master cylinder: 7×10⁴ times.
During the test, record the pressure of the brake assembly and the leakage of the piston and each connection every 5,000 times; after the test, check the assembly for leaks, damage, parts falling off, cracks, fractures and other aspects that affect performance damage.
2. Durable low temperature action
Low temperature action durability should be tested under the following conditions:
a) Test environment temperature requirement: -40℃±3℃;
b) Maximum brake pressure: 3.4 MPa±0.2 MPa;
c) Piston stroke of the brake master cylinder: more than 50% of the maximum stroke of the piston;
d) The action frequency of the piston of the brake master cylinder: 1000 times/h±100 times/h;
e) The number of actions of the piston of the brake master cylinder: 2×10⁴ times.
During the test, the pressure of the brake assembly and the leakage of the piston and each connection should be recorded every 5,000 times; after the test, check the assembly for leaks, damage, cracks, fractures, etc., which affect performance damaged; check the brake fluid in the assembly for solidification that affects the braking function.
