Determination of the limit value of formaldehyde emission in decorative man-made panels with a formaldehyde release climate chamber
To test the release of formaldehyde, a 1m formaldehyde release climate chamber is generally used, also known as the 1m climate chamber method. The following is the limit value of different indoor decoration materials using different methods for your reference.
Test sample: artificial board for interior decoration
Test equipment: 1m formaldehyde emission climate chamber
Equipment model: HYQ-1000
Equipment manufacturer: Huanyi Instrument
Test method and limit value of formaldehyde release in wood-based panels and their products:
1. Perforation extraction method (referred to as perforation method)
Test products: medium density fiberboard, high density fiberboard, particle board, oriented strand board, etc.
Limit value:
a.≤9 mg/100 g, can be directly used indoors
b.≤30 mg/100 g, it can be used indoors after finishing treatment
2. Dryer method:
Test products: plywood, decorative veneer veneer plywood, blockboard, etc.
Limit value:
a.≤1.5 mg/L, can be directly used indoors
b.≤5.0 mg/L, it can be used indoors after finishing treatment
Test products: veneer wood-based panels (including impregnated paper laminated wood floors, parquet floors, bamboo floors, impregnated adhesive film paper veneer wood-based panels, etc.)
Limit value: ≤1.5 mg/L, can be directly used indoors
3. Climate chamber method:
Test products: veneer wood-based panels (including impregnated paper laminated wood floors, parquet floors, bamboo floors, impregnated adhesive film paper veneer wood-based panels, etc.)
Limit value: ≤0.12mg/m, can be directly used indoors
The 1m formaldehyde emission climate chamber method is a more commonly used test method to test the formaldehyde emission. If you have any questions about this test method, you can consult the relevant technicians of "Huanyi Instrument".
