Constant temperature and humidity test chamber: how to maintain the nozzle of the salt spray test chamber
The salt spray corrosion test requires a salt spray test chamber to generate salt spray. The key is that the test solution is sprayed through a nozzle under a certain pressure of compressed air. The quality of the nozzle directly affects the success or failure of the test. When manufacturing the nozzle, the aperture and bending angle of the nozzle are strictly controlled to ensure that the standard salt spray can be produced.
In practical applications, the nozzles are often blocked and broken, which affects the normal operation of the test. Here are some tips to better protect the nozzles of the salt spray test chamber.
1. Be sure to use distilled water or deionized water to reduce impurities in the water and reduce the probability of clogging the nozzle.
2. Install an oil-water separator to avoid bringing in the water vapor and oil in the air when compressing the air, so that the oil stains adhere to the nozzle wall. Due to the small aperture of the nozzle, whether it is impurities in the water or attached oil, it will affect the formation of salt spray.
3. Avoid impact. When installing and using the nozzle or dredging the nozzle after blocking the nozzle, be careful to handle it with care, and do not use excessive force to damage the nozzle.
4. The spray pressure should not be set too large. Under normal circumstances, the pressure is between 0.07mp-0.17mp. If the pressure is too large, the nozzle will be broken.
The above are some daily precautions for nozzles. If the spray volume is too large/too small or does not spray during the test of the salt spray test chamber, then you should check whether the nozzles are normal. If the nozzle aperture is too large, it should be replaced.
