1. Assessment method for formaldehyde emission Environmental test Chamber:

1. The volume of the environmental test chamber shall be 0.05m '~40m2.

The inner wall of the environmental test chamber shall be made of stainless steel, glass and other inert materials.

3. The operating conditions of the environmental test chamber shall comply with the following provisions:

3.1 The temperature shall be (23 pounds 0.5)C;

3.2 Relative humidity shall be (3)%;

3.3 Air exchange rate shall be (1 ± 0.05) times /h;

3.4 The air velocity near the surface of the tested sample should be 0.1m/s~0.3m/s;

3.5 The ratio of surface area of artificial wood and its products, bonded timber structural materials, wall cloth, curtain and soft package samples to the volume of the environmental test chamber shall be 1:1, and the ratio of the area of carpet and carpet gasket samples to the volume of the environmental test chamber shall be 0.4:1;

3.6 Before the determination of formaldehyde and VOC emission of material samples, the concentration of formaldehyde and VOC in the clean air in the environmental test chamber should not be greater than 0.06mg /m and the concentration of VOC should not be greater than 0.0lmg /m2.
