ANSI/AHAM AC-1-2015
ANSI/AHAM AC-1:2015 is a standard developed by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) that specifies performance test methods for portable air purifiers for home use to ensure that these products perform in accordance with the standard and meet user needs.
The standard specifies performance test methods and evaluation of test results for air purifiers, and is intended to provide consumers with reliable and accurate information to help them choose the right air purifier for their needs.

The standard contains the following test items.
1. Efficiency tests: Tests the efficiency of purifiers in removing particulate matter and gaseous pollutants of different sizes and different types.
2. Air flow test: test the purifier's ability to process air, including air flow and the number of air changes, etc.
3.CADR test: CADR stands for "Clean Air Delivery Rate" and is used to evaluate the efficiency of a purifier in removing particles in a given space.
5. Noise Test: Test the noise level when the purifier is running.
Details of the implementation methods and test conditions of the above test items can be obtained in the standard document. The implementation of ANSI/AHAM AC-1:2015 standard helps purifier manufacturers and consumers to understand the performance of their products, ensure that the quality and performance of their products meet the requirements of the standard, and safeguard the health and safety of users.
